Eni Scholarships for Students from Nigeria, Ghana and Angola
The scholarship is collaboration between St Antony’s College at Oxford and the international integrated energy company Eni to offer three students from African universities the opportunity to undertake postgraduate study at the Master’s level at the University of Oxford commencing in October 2013.Deadline: March 22, 2013. Waverley-ORISHA Master’s Scholarship
The African Studies Committee invites applications for the ORISHA Studentship for MSc in African Studies from persons who will be registered as students for the MSc in African Studies from October 2011. Ioma Evans-Pritchard African Studies Scholarship at Oxford
As part of the development of African and Interdisciplinary Studies, St Anne’s College is offering the Ioma Evans-Pritchard Scholarship in conjunction with the African Studies Centre, University of Oxford. Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme is a joint initiative between the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the University of Oxford to support students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the United Kingdom.Deadline: January 18, 2013. Oppenheimer Scholarship for South Africans at Oxford
The Oppenheimer scholarships are open to South African citizens to study graduate degrees at the University of Oxford, UK. Harry Frederick Oppenheimer was a noted South African businessman, philanthropist, and opponent of apartheid. In 1993 he endowed the Oppenheimer Fund at Oxford University. The Fund promotes links between the University of Oxford and South African Universities. It does this by supporting academic exchanges between Oxford and South Africa, and assisting students ordinarily resident in South Africa wishing to pursue graduate study at Oxford.Deadline: January 18, 2013. British Chevening Scholarship for Africans
The scholarship is aimed at future leaders who are already experienced in their chosen profession and would like to further develop their career with a postgraduate course in the UK. The scholarship is a prestigious awards scheme that funds international postgraduate students who want to study in the UK for one academic year.
