World Citizen Talent Scholarships, Netherlands

The Hague University of Applied Sciences offers a total of 9 scholarships to students who would like to start their Master programme during the academic year 2014-2015.


At € 5,000 each, the scholarships covers a large sum of the university’s tuition fee and will only be awarded once. The scholarship will be applied as a tuition fee waiver.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for one of these scholarships if:
  • You are enrolling for the first time for one of our International Master programmes
  • The scholarship is a tuition fee waiver.
  • You have fully completed the scholarship application form
  • You will have been provisionally accepted as a student on or before 31 March
  • You have written an essay, as explained below

Are you a world citizen?

We are seeking young, intelligent, talented and ambitious people who view themselves as citizens of the world. If this sounds like you and the conditions listed above apply to you, all you need to do is complete the application form and write an essay of 950 to 1100 words that would convince us to provide you with a scholarship. 

In the essay, describe your cultural background and explain why and how you can contribute to the multinationalmulticultural beehive that is The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
Our university is an educational united nations of 146 nationalities, where everyone speaks English. You will be taught by both local and international lecturers who have an easy way of interacting with the students. The social contact among the students also makes for an enriching study period.

Essay

When you are writing your essay, try picturing yourself as a member of this community. The university has appointed a committee to judge all essays, which should be submitted before 1 April, 2014.

For the academic year 2014-2015 applications open in November 2013 and close on the 1st April 2014.
