Description

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions offers competitive, merit-based scholarships to incoming freshmen each year.
Note that meeting or exceeding the posted criteria does not guarantee selection for a scholarship.
For international students, the value is $2,000 ($500 per year).

For consideration:
  • Apply for admission and complete your application by the priority deadline of January 2nd; applications received and  completed after this date may be considered on a funds available basis.
  • Verify your residency classifcation by checking your application status at my.usf.edu; you must be classifed as a Non-Florida resident for tuition purposes to receive a Non-Florida resident scholarship. (Florida Prepaid card holders will be considered for Florida Resident  Scholarships.) 
  • Maintain a post-secondary GPA of a 3.0 or higher, if completing dual enrollment or college coursework.
Academic Requirements
  • 3.50+ GPA and
  • 1050+ SAT (Critical Reading & Math only) or
  • 1550+ SAT (Critical Reading, Math & Writing) or
  • 23+ ACT

Apply at www.usf.edu/apply  for admission and complete your application by the priority deadline of January 2nd.
If selected for a scholarship, you will receive notifcation by mail. You may check the status of your application, view and accept any scholarships at www.my.usf.edu.
