2014-2015 International MSc in Management Scholarship in Germany

Scholarship Description 

HHL is offering  four scholarships to international  prospective graduate students with outstanding  academic performance  who intend to study at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany for the 2014-2015 academic session.


This scholarship(HHL Scholarship for Effective and Responsible Leadership 14 ) is specifically targeted for successful  business leaders of the future who wish to study in HHL’s full-time Master Program in Management (M.Sc.) commencing in March 2014 or September 2014.

Value of the scholarship Award.
  • The scholarship is of the value of up to EUR 15,000  Euro  to cover part of the tuition fees of HHL’s full-time M.Sc. Program.
  • The scholarship will also  provide any successful candidate  with a tuition waiver for the M.Sc. Program of the value of up to EUR 10,000. The grantee needs to demonstrate  effective leadership, Social responsibility and dedication . As a  return for the award , the grantee will support HHL’s mission

Eligibility Criteria for the Award
  • Applicants are welcome from any country to apply for the full-time M.Sc. Program
  • The Applicant must already be a  holder or be in the process of obtaining a first degree in business (at least 180 ECTS credits) with an above average result.
  • Also a GMAT score of at least 650 is required. Only applicants who apply for HHL’s full-time M.Sc. Program for the March 2014 or the September 2014 intake are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Mode of Application: Applicants are to apply online and submit the following
  • A completed full-time M.Sc. application
  • GMAT score of at least 650
  • Scholarship essay (see below)
  • Scholarship questionnaire
Scholarship Essay:
 The scholarship essay on a respective topic is to be submitted along with the other  necessary application documents. The essay is  to be in English and should cover approximately 3,000 words.

For March 2014 intake(Topic): Financial institutions’ engagement in speculative activities in agricultural commodity markets is currently a matter of great public debate. Please discuss your views on this issue – both from an ethical and an economic perspective.

September 2014 intake(Scholarship Questionnaire) :
